After researching and gaining further insight from Yasmin Lambat and Renee Watson, both SA pilates teachers, I wrote posts on the AASI Contributions blog, my PCDB blog, the AASI blog, and the AIM Academy Forum. Each one explains a different aspect of this issue and each one is loaded with cross-links to get you to the information that most interests you.

I just got word yesterday that support from outside of South Africa, that is, from the greater, global pilates community, is gladly welcomed!

There you will find a link to a broad-based petition, asking fellow pilates teachers to support each other in the quest to exclude pilates from legislation until a strong, united community in South Africa is achieved.

It gives links to explanations of the issue, outlines who will agree with the petition, asks that you read the links and please SIGN THE PETITION, and also tells where to send it.
