The Sports Club/LA, the world’s premiere name in sports and fitness is seeking full time Pilates instructors for our fitness departments in Orange County, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, CA. We are looking for individuals who are professional, punctual, reliable, proactive, and friendly. We work together as a team!

An overview of the position is to maintain strong sales productivity and consistent client base ensuring financial success for the company and the department. Enhance member’s lives by utilizing cutting-edge exercise, fitness and eating strategies that are focused on client goals and safe; creating maximum results in the least amount of time.

Other responsibilities include:
•Sell and Service Pilates and/or Gyrotonic Training Sessions to Members.
•Document Member information accurately, neatly, completely, and in a
timely manner.
•Follow Company protocol for greeting, goal setting, health history,
assessments, program design and documentation.
•Promote, design and instruct proper eating strategies.
•Develop safe and effective exercise programs utilizing progression; insure
programs are consistent with Member’s goals/needs.
•Demonstrate and instruct proper use of equipment with regard to muscle
stabilization, body alignment, execution, and specific Pilates/Gyrotonic
protocol.
•Give clear, concise instruction before and during activity.
•Follow the SCLA Sales Strategies, and demonstrate effective sales skills
by determining wants and needs, build rapport and customizing
presentation.
•Maintain a minimum of 20 sessions per week.


Requirements:
•Nationally recognized Pilates/Gyrotonic Certification.
•NASM CPT Certification preferred.
•ACE, NSCA or ACSM, or NASM Certification and/or a degree in
progress in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Sports
Medicine; or equivalent preferred.
•Current CPR Certification.
•Practical experience in the field.
•Knowledge of current fitness trends and safety practices.
•Capable of maintaining a minimum of 20 sessions per week.
