Shop for a Cause: Breast Cancer Pilates Products
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which kicked off last week, we’ve rounded up a great group of Pilates clothing items and products designed to help raise funds for breast cancer research, including this “Kick It” tee from Lucy. Designed for anyone dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis or recovery, Pilates Therapeutics’ Breast Cancer Survivor’s Guide to Physical Restoration DVD ($19.95) is also a good reference for instructors looking for more information and exercise ideas for working with this group. Pink Ribbon Program
The Pink Ribbon Program offers 2-day workshops focusing on how to work with women who have undergone breast cancer treatment. Topics covered include anatomy, types of surgeries and treatments, lymphedema, assessment and exercise protocols and contraindications.
